INVOLVED.

VOLUNTEER WITH US.

Volunteering is a great way to connect with your community and support people who need it most.

BayCISS is a volunteer driven organisation and we rely on our volunteers to deliver vital services. We offer a range of roles, from Community Information & Support Workers (with accredited training and ongoing support) to behind the scenes opportunities in admin, social media, fundraising and food collection.

All volunteers are required to complete a police check, have a valid working with children card, accept our ethical standards and follow our Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.

STUDENT PLACEMENTS AT BayCISS.

Each year we support students completing community development or social work courses by hosting their placement at BayCISS. We provide exceptional learning experiences and strengthen casework skills to ensure strong client services as well as experienced work ready students.

CHRISTMAS HELPERS.

We run a Christmas Hamper program to support our clients during the festive season. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

If volunteering isn’t possible, you can still make a difference by donating to help bring a little extra support and joy to those in need at this time of year.

Acknowledgement of Country

BayCISS pay respect to the traditional custodians of the land where we meet; the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We recognise that our First Nation people have a rich history and deep connection to the land, skies and waterways. We respect their cultures and people. BayCISS acknowledges this land was never ceded.
