No Interest Loans (NILs)

No Interest Loans provide safe, affordable credit of up to $2,000 for essential goods and services. There are no fees, charges or interest, you only repay what you borrow.

Who is eligible?

You may be eligible if you:

• Hold a Health Care or Pension Card

• Earn under $70,000 (single) or $100,000 (couple or with dependants)

• Can demonstrate capacity to repay the loan

What can the loan
be used for?

• Household essentials (furniture, appliances)

• Health and wellbeing (medical, dental, vet)

• Education and employment (laptops, uniforms, tools)

• Housing (repairs, bond, moving costs)

• Transport (car repairs, registration, lessons)

 

Loans are paid directly to suppliers and cannot be used for existing debts or everyday expenses.

Repayments

Loans are repaid over up to 24 months.
